No it is that single child syndrome. Hey Joe- how did you get a pic of my little black kitten? That pic is identical to her, always in a sack or under the covers peeping out. Good morning everyone. Have a blessed day.

Mike’s response–“so go already, you didn’t need to wake me up to ask”.

Yep, my son would hold his until he was at the house…my nephew liked to take all his clothes off to “go”. So put the two together and I agree with ejcapulet…

Does he think he can’t use the bathroom at Mike’s house?

I think what Greeneyedtxn says it’s true. I’m a single child and I hate to use a bathroom that is not mine

Home field advantage is one thing - but there is a whole other level of assurance and comfort to home potty advantage.

My youngest son use to hit all the bathrooms when he was young, no matter where we were. Why? I guess to leave his mark.

Lawrence, help yourself to go to the bathroom instead of asking Michael for using the bathroom at the Pattersons’ home. Sigh! :-/

This is Smokey, my mother’s “Attack” cat. No stranger was safe around her. She could spit and hiss with the best of them.

He has surely been to the Patterson bathroom, but middle of the night is a different thing - everything seems strange.

Being new to Canada I have learned that they will say washroom rather than restroom in a public place.

As Canadians we use “bathroom” at home and “washroom” in public, generally. We speak an English that has parts from the UK, parts from the US, and parts that are uniquely our own. Then of course there’s French… I usually ask in French for “la toilette”, which seems to work.

Are we assuming he knows where the bathroom is? I wasn’t sure.
