She noticed that MIchael had spelled “Summer” wrong.

Oh No! I hated that kind of anticipation!

ARF2 is probably closer to the truth. Remember how Micheal signed the card.

At least she didn’t hug him in front of the class.

I think she’s going to say how much his behavior has improved. Probably.

This is not a good way to start sumMer break.

I think ladyfingers is right: Michael misspelled “Sum[m]er” on her card and she wants to correct him. And then give him a big hug.

This appears frequently in FBOW.Actually, in Ontario, we do use “First Grade”, “Second Grade” etc. through to “Eighth Grade”. We also use Grade 1-13" here too. (Well, we USED to have grade 13, then it became OAC, then in the early 2000’s it was ‘phased out and became an extra year to catch up’).

He will know better next time than to sign the card expressing his love:-)
