That’s just what siblings do — push each other’s buttons just because they know they can. And Elizabeth apparently knows how to give as good as she gets!
@gmartin997: I understand totally; haven’t spoken to my entire family for years now, and I don’t plan to. They’re a complete bunch of… [bleeps].Being single is far better. At least true friends don’t screw your life up.
Wow, I realize how lucky I am. My parents, my two brothers, and my sister are five of my favorite people in the entire world—I not only love them, I actually LIKE them. My sister (10 years younger) is my best friend. I love their kids also. The spouses of my sibs—I can tolerate!
Also, insanity is inherited…your family makes you crazy..My older and I were at swords’ points for many years — eventually we just got tired of the hostility crap and, however grudgingly, we each found respect and compassion for what the other had been dealing with in life. No one has it easy, and everyone has something in them to be admired…and life is way the hell too short to do something as butt-ugly stupid as bear a grudge.
Talking about “pushing your buttons”.When I was a little boy, every time my little brother got hurt, I would tell him that I pushed the button(to make him fall down, bite his tongue, break a toy, etc). He would cry even more about me “pushing the button”.
My sister and I still don’t get along (mostly due to her being nasty to our mother and her ability to only say rude things to me). For me, my friends are my family.
I had the luxury of being raised as an only child because I had a father and four half-sisters who pretended I didn’t exist. (Their loss because I’m totally awesome.)
I like this one because Ellie has affirmed Michael by believing him. Mind you, it’s funny that she did the same to her brother. Maybe she wouldn’t have believed that Lizzie could do that otherwise.

And this is why Calvin, Schroeder as well as “Weird Al” Yankovic are an only child.

If it weren’t for a need for breeding stock, there’d be no reason for sisters.

I always said my younger brother and I have been fighting since he was old enough to hit back. We’re best of friends now, though.

My sisters and I continue to drive each over crazy, but love each other crazy and would go the distance for them.

Being estranged from your family can cause relationship issues later in life I think.

We raised a daughter and two sons. The older two pushed each other’s buttons all through their childhood and adolesence. Now they don’t speak hardly.

Maybe Elizabeth can not see very well. That’s why she’s so close to the TV.

Sometimes, your friends can do you more damage by accidentthan your enemies can on purpose.
