My dentist doesn’t tell my her stuff so much as expect me to talk while she has the instruments in my mouth.

Not sure this made news in the States, but Google ‘Dalhousie Dentist School Scandal’. It’s current news about male dentist students in New Brunswick, CN talking filth about the female students onfacebook.

Bad idea John, your patient is Not a doormat!!!!

I thought they were HIS parents.

This reminds me of my own dentst when I was growing up, but only because Dr. Perry (an older Perry Como-looking guy) was the antithesis of what we’re seeing from John today: Always smiling, whistling and joking. He made getting fillings about as tolerable as that procedure could be.

I may be wrong, but I think John said that punchline to tease the patient. He wouldn’t be the first dentist I’ve seen to joke about the procedures.And unlike many people here, I don’t see John and Elly as brain-dead.

When I was able to afford a dentist never talked of that. He was of old school and would violate patient privacy, I cannot remember he gave out names. He talked of my mom though.

I left my previous dentist because of talk like that…: – /We had a dentist for such a long time, and then he sold his practice to a young whipper snapper, and this manner, like what the strip is showing, so unnerved me that after two checkups I didn’t go back.
