Don’t they have addresses in Canada or is it like parts of Scotland where each house has a name. I was really thrown by that. A neat idea and the cab drivers knew where they all were!
You better not have any kids in your front seat in the afterschool line up, pick up lane at our NY state school. The parents in line will notice and call the troopers on you. At least we think it’s one of the parents….may be someone inside the school watching.
I wonder if there are age restrictions on riding in the front seat. There are little people who as adults would fit easily into an modern booster seat. Do the height/weight restrictions apply to them?
Perhaps Melody’s mother put her in a taxi, gave the driver the address,(yep,we have them here in Canada, complete with numbers) and zipped off to the casino to play bingo all day!
Depending on how long ago this strip first ran, kids in the front seat might not have been a “thing”. Some of my best memories of my “kidhood” involve riding up front, next to my Daddy.:-)

So strange to now see a child in the front seat. (not sure the laws in Canada, though)

This is a flashback comic strip. I think set in the 70’s, which also explains no cell phone or GPS.

Alpha omegaTo say nothing of a Postal Code Postale that alternates capital letters with numerals, making the shift key look like a pogo stick.
