Never saw a sled like that (a third ski and a steering wheel). Also, so much for quality mother/son time.

Now just imagine how she and John will react in three years when you’re actually old enough to drive a car, Michael!

What a sweet moment, Mother and Son getting ready for when he gets his drivers license.

Mom thought it wa snow fun.

So why wasn’t Dad shoveling?

Things we did without a second thought when we were kids look absolutely terrifying when we’re old!

John is in the house, Mike is going sledding, and Elly is shoveling the walk or driveway. What is wrong with this picture? Except for Mike trying to kill Elly.

Elly doesn’t remember her own childhood in British Columbia? They have plenty of snow there too. Plus mountains to ski down or slide down on with a good sled or toboggan.

Why is Elly, with a bad cold, doing the shovelling when both Mike and John are home?

Mike’s been reading Calvin and Hobbes.

How come Mom is shoveling alone ??

Why is she shoveling snow if he is available. Instead of sledding, he should be shoveling.

We had about 12" Friday – Saturday. Yesterday evening some guys came by and shoveled the driveway and front walk for $40 while I read a book. Seemed like good deal to me.

Oh, please! Ellie can’t have fun? I figured this would end up with her playing with the sled herself and Mike cleaning the drive.

Reminds me of a commercial break scene from Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers. Chip and Dale holding on to each other for dear life, while Gadget is smiling sitting at the wheel and Monty is pumping his fists like he’s having the time of his life.

We had sleds with two front steerable skis. Pulled them behind snowmobiles and survived!. I have the scars to prove it.

Sounds like a great sled ride. It’s more fun if you’re the one steering; can understand her fear.

My Daddy use to take us tobogganing when he was in his 50s & 60’s, had as much fun as we did and continued on with his grandkids
