The government keeps spending more money than they have. A lot of that is for necessary stuff (repairing roads, etc.) but to do that they just print more money. (The won’t let us do that.) Since there is nothing to back up that extra money, every previously existing dollar is worth less and won’t buy as much. Look how much prices have gone up at the grocery store over the last two years because of Covid and the necessary vaccines..

In New York City, fare beating is costing $500 million dollars annually. The solution: Congestion Pricing for driving below 60th Street in Manhattan. Twenty three dollars every time you cross a street in a car. Obscene.

How I dreaded boarding NYC buses in the hours when school let out!!

Between the students and their enormous book bags, there was hardly room to breathe!!

Panel 1: The banging around is supposed to keep you awake. If not, most of you would be asleep by the time you got to school.Panel 4: I know it says “METRO” on his sleeve, but it looks like “METH”..

I’m lucky. I walked to school. Grade school, 2 blocks. Junior high, half a mile. High school a mile. Didn’t go to college, it was just too far to walk.

Went on a bus a coupla times, museum trips, went to Fenway park for a sox game.

Another example of how new technology has gotten revamped but is worse than the old. When I rode on school buses in the late 1960s, early 70s I hardly noticed any bumps or shakes on the school bus. In fact a group of us boys would make our way to the back 3 seats because the bus would shake and rattle more back there. The girls would sit in the front and middle seats because there was the extra advantage of both the front wheel springs and rear wheel springs.

Why are they even going to school today? This is Canada. Their Queen is dead. It is time to mourn.

Back when I was in middle school, several decades ago, there was this one boy who had to ride city metro bus to school as school district said he was on the border, he did this coming and leaving school, teacher’s knew this.
