Aypo is SO VERY PROUD of herself.

What was cut can be mended? Farley and April, sure. That rug and that table cloth are ruined.

John’s explanation is in direct opposition of the old magician’s saying, “What has been cut – CAN’T BE UNCUT!” (Or presto, it’s magic.)

I don’t see what’s the big deal with April. So now April has two small cowlicks to compare with Elly’s one giant cowlick on her forehead. April’s just becoming a hair part of the family.

1977. I was five years old and my sister was just approaching her fourth birthday. She was laid up with a broken leg that she achieved whilst jumping from the back of the living room couch, pretending to be Wonder Woman. I took it upon myself to get some scissors and give her a hair cut. The results were unpleasant, but they have been saved for posterity because she is sporting that haircut in all of her fourth birthday photos.

Indeed it is little girl. Indeed it is. It’s only just begun.

There was an episode of King of the Hill where Luann’s hair was singed off in a fire. For the entire season it showed her bald, then in later episodes her hair gradually started to grow back. Mike Judge said he wanted to ensure some real world realism by showing the gradualism, as opposed to the “reset button” where someone loses their hair and by the next episode a full head of hair is miraculously restored.

Brat.

Enough with this kid …

Does a three year old know what the word “affection” means? I mean, she can’t say her name correctly and talks like she needs speech therapy - but, she knows what that big old word “affection” means - interesting.

Or how about this:

John is bald.

Elly has a big blue hairdo.

Michael has a spiky head that sticks straight up.

Elizabeth has spiky hair.

So you all approve of negligent, big-mouth mothers, indifferent fathers, and undisciplined, entitled, spoiled brats.

Man, do I pity you!!

Why can no one spell “yeah” correctly? “Yah” rhymes with Ah!

And the mom’s reaction to a little girl cutting her hair is how little girls grow up to be vain little princesses. It’s hair – it will grow back – stop making a big deal over it.

The difference between a good haircut and a bad one is usually about 2 weeks, maybe a little more.
