Andy: Wow. You know, this "Dilbert" phenomenon is amazing to me. Five years ago I hadn't even heard of the comic strip, and now it's everwhere I look. Books... calendars... office supply ads... his own ice cream flavor... NOw I read about an upcoming TV series... Whatever Scott Adams' secret formula is, it sure has been successful. I'm a little surprised other cartoonists haven't tried to copy it. Roger: Honey, please, these are artists. They have integrity. Jason: So, like my new haircut?
Just to refresh anyone’s memory…the “upcoming TV series”…worst idea ever…
Humor too “adult” (in a negative way) for kids, too narrow for many non-white-collar adults.
I am still a fan of the strip (Wally’s my role model), but I found the series sometimes offensive, but mostly disappointing.
