Roger: Our daughter is screaming. Alex: I'll go check on her. Sweetie, what's wrong? Paige: My freshman year is 25 percent over and I still don't have a boyfriend! Am I hideous or something?! Andy: Paige, it's nothing to stress about! You're only 14! You're young! Lots of people don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend at your age! And for what it's worth, the boyfriends I had at 14 all turned out to be jerks. Paige: "BoyfriendS"?? As in plural??? Roger: She's screaming louder now. Andy: Maybe you should talk to her.
Here are some tips, Paige:1. Make guy friends.2. Play hard-to-get. If you throw yourself at guys, that won’t work. People want things they can’t have.3. Be feminine. You wouldn’t want to date a guy who looked and acted like a girl, would you?4. Flirt a little with cute guys, but when one of your guy friends starts to like you, flirt with him the most.5. Make some more girl friends, too. So far, you only seem to have Nicole. You’ll seem less of a loner that way.6. Wait. You only really need to do steps 1, 2, 3, and 6 to get guys, but 4 and 5 help. And I should know. I’ve been getting asked out since I was nine.
