Paige: Peter, when you had Mr. Thornton for English, did you have to write a paper on "Romeo and Juliet"? Peter: I did. Paige: Do you remember what you wrote about? I don't want my paper to be remotely similar to yours. Peter: Good idea. Thornton's like a psycho when it comes to plagiarism. Paige: Actually, no, I just remember seeing your freshman year grades. Peter: Let's see...I think I focused mostly on how Juliet could've looked hotter on the cover.
Our class read “Romeo and Juliet” in Grade 11. The teacher got a movie version of it to show us. But I don’t think she watched it first – it was the one in which we see teenaged Juliet naked. Just the thing to show a roomful of 16 year old boys! But I think that would have met Peter’s request that she look hotter!! (Finally, a way to get kids interested in Shakespeare…)
