Jason: Check out my super evil Halloween costume. Peter: You're just covered in paper. Jason: This isn't just ANY paper...these are hand-picked pages from all the "Game of Thrones" books to date. Each contains a key moment in which an unexpected or shocking plot development occurs, such as the death of a major character. I'm a giant mass of spoilers! And when people who aren't done with the books realize what I am, it'll be too late! Their subconscious minds will have already absorbed everything! That includes you, too, by the way! Bwahaha! Peter: So I don't have to read all 10 billion pages now? Sweet! Jason: I think we may need a bigger focus group than just each other. Marcus: Hey, I told you to go with those "Doctor Who" scripts.

The papers should have math problems. That would at least scare Paige.

Isn’t Jason a little young for Game of Thrones?
Kamino Neko about 12 years ago
Do Roger and Andy just totally not monitor Jason’s entertainment consumption?
meg_grif about 12 years ago
OK, thanks for the info. I’m in the process of watching the first season, and my comment was based on that. I am planning to read the books, though.

only hbo can effectively produce game of thrones. can you imagine if they tried it on network tv or basic cable? the complaints would range from too much sex and violence to destroying a book series.

River Song appreciates the discretion, Jason.

Doctor Who…the old series or the current series?

“I still say the one guy isn’t dead. No way.”If we’re thinking of the same person then I totally agree. The way that scene ends leaves it open to any possibility, really.
btw, that is a great costume! But I’d hate it cause I hate spoilers!

He has been shown watching it too in an earlier strip. And they seem to be off and on about watching what they watch and read.
For example, an old strip from the 90’s had Andy taking a Mortal Karnage 2 (a lawyer friendly cameo of Mortal Kombat 2) game from Jason.

The first question – Doctor Who?
pawpawbear about 12 years ago
>>I whole heartedly agree. His descriptive powers are beyond compare and much too guesome for a ten year old.
DerkinsVanPelt218 about 12 years ago
Why not just be the Eleventh Doctor himself? I hear he favors bowties.
Doctor11 about 12 years ago
That’s not much of a spoiler since the Daleks are ALWAYS trying to kill the Doctor.

The books are far more explicit than the show, which is mainly considered explicit only because of all the graphic sex scenes… It doesn’t quite capture the level of human suffering and violence that the books contain. If you’re an adult who likes dark, mature, yet wonderfully fantastical stories, then I highly recommend reading the books (even if you accidentally read some spoilers! Haha)
“I can describe an axe entering a human skull in great explicit detail and no one will blink twice at it. I provide a similar description, just as detailed, of a penis entering a vagina, and I get letters about it and people swearing off. To my mind this is kind of frustrating, it’s madness. Ultimately, in the history of [the] world, penises entering vaginas have given a lot of people a lot of pleasure. Axes entering skulls, well, not so much.” —George R.R. Martin

The series is called “A Song of Ice and Fire”. “A Game of Thrones” is the first book.

I’m pretty sure they should be tax forms. That would be horrifying.
