Its the start of the rebel alliance,,, thats my thoughts, so Luke is what age? He and Leah were born as Darth was “being put together” and A new Hope put him at 17? So this takes place while Luke and Leah are young?
Jason wants Paige to get off “the” computer? I’m impressed that this family apparently does not have an Internet capable device for everyone in the house. Way to resist the march of technology!
I mean, c’mon, him and Eileen aren’t on such good terms that she’ll just do this kind of favor for Jason out of the blue without there at least being a chance it’s a prank.
I skipped Ep 7 when I learned that it begins by hitting a big “Undo” button and unwinding the classic films (4-6). “Rogue One” bills itself as a separate story from the Skywalker/Vader/Kenobi saga but happening in parallel with it, and that seems worth a look. On the other hand, I notice the trailer heavily features yet another Death Star, which makes me wonder just how many of these things the Empire actually built—Ep 4-6 suggested there were just two, the second being built after the first was blown up, but I guess we’ll see…
Rogue One is about the first Death Star and how the plans got to Lea. Don’t ignore 7 without seeing it first. If didn’t negate it so much as things happened after. Things we have not seen.
Rogue One is at the same time one of the best star wars movies and so bad I deny its existence. It was good except for the fact that they killed everyone. oops spoilers.
I was 6 when my parents took me and my sisters to the theaters to see rouge one, and none of us knew that it was set right before a new hope, and we thought it was the next movie in the series, so when the end came, and everyone died, I asked my dad if they all actually died, and my dad lied, and said “No that was just the un rising.” I believed that for 2 1/2 years until we re-watched it.

Nah, it’s probably actually an X-Men movie where the mutant that drains the memories out of people dominates a fighting tournament.
