Peter: Dad, did you ever have to pull an all-nighter studing for a test? Roger: A few times, sure. Peter: What was your secret? How did you stay awake? Roger: Well, I'd drink coffee... splash cold water on my face... And if that didn't work, I'd play really loud music. Andy: Did you also tell him why you were expelled from three fraternities? Roger: Calm down, we'd be waking up in a few hours anyway.
I think cocaine and NoDoz would make for a weird combination… though supposedly, the original formula for Coca-Cola contained cocaine. Way-back-when, it wasn’t uncommon for quite dangerous things to be labeled as “restoratives” and sold over the counter at the local chemist… (a.k.a. local drug store)
I’m sure TraggerJohn is referring to the fizzy carbonated drink with the sugar and carmel coloring though… well, its sugar if you get the imported coca-cola - but high fructose corn syrup from most places in the US, sadly…
But wow - I don’t think I’d try taking those caffeine pills with coke in any case, not unless I had a big bottle of TUMS for afters…
