Not NES, not SNES, not N64, and certainly never asked for a Wii for Christmas (or birthday) growing up. Just had Game Boy (later followed by Game Boy Advance; which I still have) and some computer CD-ROMs.
My mom got me a Wii one year for Christmas. I didn’t really want one, and never really played it. Was always more of a PC gamer and I didn’t enjoy the dumb motion controls.
The NEW Nintendo Switch seems to have died on the launch pad. They released it months ago, and most of the good games are slated for release December 29th. Really? Are you supposed to give the kids an IOU for Christmas?

I certainly thought so at the time. Every time someone called asking if we had Wii, I gave them the baby department.

I never wanted one, but had fun with the jokes about kids who wanted to Wii all the time.

I used Wii Fit and lost 25 pounds! Of course I watched my diet as well!

I kept calling it the wee2. My kids went crazy.

No self respecting gamer (which Jason appeared to be) would have ever wanted the Wii.
