FoxTrot Classics by Bill Amend for June 20, 2022

Even at the grocery store when I’m on the opening shift where customers slowly start to come in, I have to pick up trash off the parking lot. When I think I’ve got it all, the main manager calls me at times “breathes fire” on me when he says I’ve missed spots.

Now if you could do something about the sticky floor in the theater.

Do teenagers even accept such menial, minimum wage jobs anymore?

Shoeshine boy! Do you call these shoes shined?

I’m surprized they trust him to take care of the floors.

Haha…my son turned down an assistant manager position once because he didn’t think that the 1$/hour raise was worth having to clean up the area behind the store where homeless people went to do their business

Today the last panel would say “I quit!!”. Yeah, I know. I am not allowed to use bad words so you get the clean version.

Next he has to empty the honey bucket

My first “real” job at a truck factory I was a “Sweep 3rd Class”… i don’t even want to recall what that entailed.

I’m currently trying to get a job at my local movie theatre. I hope it’s not like this.

Took me a few minutes to figure out that was a banana in Peter’s hand, looked like a package tied at the top.

Being floor manager sucks.
