Chef’s miracle

When I was in college, the school dining hall served what was called “hunter’s veal.” I assume it was some sort of protein, it was gray and relatively tasteless. A true mystery meat.

I don’t know, it just looks like a bunch of bumpy lines to me.

I went to Edwin Markham Jr Hi in San Jose, in the late 50’s. My mother worked in the cafeteria. Because the catholic students must have fish on Fridays, we sometimes had what the menu said was, Tuna Runa or Tuna SOS. We students called it Ruin the Tuna SOS.

I wonder if Andy ever had a job as a school lunch lady.

“Lunchlady Land” by Adam Sandler comes to mind.

Despite that fact, don’t be surprised.

Yeah but looking edible is way, way different than it actually BEING edible…
