Just curious, Is anyone else noticing the direction/execution of the strip change after the summer break? It seems to have moved to a more direct commentary/stand alone messaging rather than having things evolve in longer, more nuanced story arcs, with subtle and not so subtle humor making the point. I feel I seem to be just watching Francis “pontificate” on important things after cues or questions from Gabby or Leo. Not that the messaging is wrong or anything, it just seems dryer than before. But maybe that is just me.
