More than 20 years ago I helped run a software store. We were encouraged to try out the merch so we could discuss it intelligently for customers who had questions (and we had tons of ’em). One golf game I played, I wound up taking seven or eight strokes and still was nowhere near the cup. The program threw up a dialog box that asked, “You just wanna take your 12 and move on to the next hole?”
