I have no idea why anyone wants to go to a football game. I’ve been to one pro and one college game. Once my seat was on the 50 yard line low and once it was near the end zone high. I couldn’t tell what was happenings on the field in either case. And then you add the cost of parking, tickets and food in order to sit in the cold or heat or rain. The alternative: TV.
The best seat for the game is in front of my large screen TV. Plus i can do my own instant replay, and the beer is more reasonably priced. (Bonus – I can fast forward past the idiot talking heads)
Went to see a Bears game. Left early – took public transportation. Got there for the 2nd quarter. 2 hot dogs – $25. Terrible game – left after 3rd quarter. NO busses or cabs. Walked 2 miles to catch the train home. Chicago has never figured out how to get people to and from that stadium and they wonder why the Bears are moving to Arlington Heights…!
I felt the same way when I went to a Tina Turner concert. I bought tickets when they first went on sale but, unfortunately, ticket scalping is allowed in Texas, so we ended up in the nosebleed section. I could hear her, but could hardly see her.

Sounds like you got sideline seats to one of the away games.

If they’re far afield, maybe you should change the subject…?

And don’t forget to charge your phone so you can actually watch the game.
