Buckle up!

Funny, with me it’s, the higher the gas prices, the higher the speed limit seems to be.

Dad was a railroad engineer. In his later years, he compared life to boarding a train that had no conductor, no scheduled stops, and no time table. There was only one known destination, which one reached only after being shunted into sidings for various periods. Considering my life, I can’t argue with that.

…and there’s not enough rest stops

And the slower my brain seems to go.

Luckily there is a McDonalds coming up where you can grab a bite, hit the John and change drivers…. no wait…. there is a Waffle House, lets “GO” there…!

Really? The Count seems to think things slow down.

Until you start spending more time in the breakdown lane.

The longer you are on the highway of life the more often your car needs service.

mathematically speaking, of course, every day is a smaller %-age of one’s life span, so that’s probably part of the problem. ;-)

Brilliant, clever, funny, good one!…

It only seems like the speed limit gets faster, it’s actually more a case of you slowing down.

… and the fewer forks to alternate routes.

…..rushing to that glorious end.

And sometimes you encounter a few speed bumps.

The longer you are on the highway of life, the closer you get to your off ramp

And the repair work keeps getting more expensive.
