I HATE when a show gets canceled without a proper ending.

I love it even the end is revealed that it was all a dream.

To end a series abruptly should be against a Producer’s Coda of Ethics.

Just as long as you don’t cancel Frank and Ernest.

The Newhart show had the best ending ever

Should have been used with the TV show writers and TV show actors went on strike this past Summer-Fall 2023.

I’m still in my anger phase that the MLS sold their viewing rights to Apple TV. Now that the NFL is playing with the same idea (exclusive games on Peacock+), I’m getting really annoyed with that too. In both cases, the quality (both technically and broadcasters) is considerably worse and a it’s lot more expensive. I’ve come to the conclusion that where sports is concerned, streaming is evil.

Get up out of the chair.

LOL… Could work for football season, too, as soon as the final game is over for your favorite team.

Next up..5 minutes of commercials…!

Now that all my shows are starting back up this month, I don’t want to watch them anymore lol.

Trouble is, at my age, a really good series, like Bosch et al, that is well written and performed, and keeps my attention, takes too long between seasons. Would kinda like to stick around for the finale but I don’t get to choose.

This arc is the clearest description of the short attention span that entertainment moguls like. Show viewer anything, numbers begin to fade, dump it, and throw out something else. Cheaper by the dozen.

This is a great strip today.

The worst is when a show is cancelled in mid season and some episodes are never aired.

We were enjoying streaming The Rockford Files. Then one night it was gone. I searched all the streaming stations that Comcast offers but nobody had Rockford Files. Strange.

I felt the same way when “My Favorite Martian” was replaced by “The Horse Who Knew Too Much.”

I hate it when an author dies in the middle of a series. . . .

Samantha Who? was a very funny and different show. Canceled , but now I binge watch it and tell myself that it is just a long movie.
