Frazz by Jef Mallett for October 02, 2005
Transcript:
Caulfield: You wonder why anybody is surprised by anything in the movies. Frazz: Really. But people keep going to sequels. Caulfield: No, no, the actors! They'd save themselves a lot of trouble if they just listened to the soundtrack. The beat slows down, the low brass comes up...somebody's about to get popped. The music gets light and tinkly, some more pleasant surprise is around the corner. Strings? Grab a tissue. Silence? Review your will. But no! Nobody listens! Everybody... Mrs. Olsen: CAULFIELD! For heaven's sake! Recess ended 15 minutes ago! Caulfield: I didn't hear the bell.
What, no “Jaws” theme to signal Mrs. Olsen’s approach? Tsk, tsk.
