Miss Plainwell: I wish I had the discipline to keep a journal. Frazz: You do. Your e-mails and memos are great. Miss Plainwell: But that's not a journal. That's just me working. Frazz: Some of the fittest athletes I know are bike messengers. That's just them working, too. And just like some people sit on a stationary bike to watch television, it's possible to put some pretty lazy writing in a journal. You've never written a lazy word in your life. Your grocery list has a theme and a plot. When you write full zoot every time you write, you need a journal like a bicycle messenger needs an exercise bike. Does that make sense?
