Caulfield: Frazz! Frazz: I can't ask Grant how his Christmas was? boy: Well... Caulfield: He lives in the neighborhood by the tech center! Frazz: Yeah... boy: ...My dad's been laid off. Just about everybody's parents have. Caulfield: Nice. Frazz: What? boy: So nobody went skiing, or on a cruise, or to Disney World like every other Christmas. Caulfield: Geez. Frazz: What? boy: So everybody had a huge potluck dinner at the Tuckers' house and then we all went sledding where the country club used to be. Caulfield: Okay. Where do I vote to get him his economics prize? Frazz: The Nobels aren't like American Idol. boy: It was the best Christmas ever!
Smart! Reminds me of our last Christmas. Van broke down, and all break we could only stay at home. We have a very nice home, the kids love it, but I go stir crazy and am always wanting to go places. It was the Best Christmas Ever!
