Mrs. Olsen: Caulfield, you have totally exhausted my patience. Caulfield: I doubt that. First, "exhausted" is an absolute term. So "totally exhausted" is a redundancy. Mrs. Olsen: You're making it worse. Caulfield: That's the other thing. If you just got more tired, you clearly weren't totally exhausted before. Frazz: You look... Mrs. Olsen: There's a word for what Caulfield does to you. Frazz: But not two words. Mrs. Olsen: Actually, I've made up several new ones.
