Frazz by Jef Mallett for February 01, 2011
Transcript:
Caulfield says, "Huh. I got a B-plus on my test." Caulfield says, "Should have studied instead of getting sucked into that book." Frazz says, "What book?" Caulfield says, "About Thomas Paine. Rolled in it all weekend." Frazz says, "He could turn out a slogan." Caulfield says, "Like 'read, wallow and miss out on an A.'"
It takes me way longer to finish all of Frazz strips than I’d anticipated. Not only is the website quite unresponsive and it take sometimes so much as 6, even 7 reloads until it is displayed completely. But Jef Mallet every so often sends me onto a websearch for American music, geography, literature, and – like here – history that eat up hours. Hours well spent, mind you. Thomas Paine is a human gem one should know about.
The world is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion. A quote worthy to be everyone’s motto, today more than ever.
