Caulfield: Mrs. Olsen is playing Barry Manilow at her garage sale! That is so going to steer people away. Frazz: Certain people. Caulfield: How am I supposed to sneak stuff in there when my ears are bleeding?
There is nothing so good that everyone likes it, and nothing so bad that someone doesn’t like it. Not a Manilow fan, but I recognize his talent and understand why many people are. Like Graham Parker said, “I can’t see the point but I see the attraction.” Similar deal with Neil Diamond; not a fan , but if given tickets, I would go see him; he puts on a great show. Lacking that, I would be willing to see Super Diamond instead.
