If tin whistles are made of tin, what are fog horns made of?

Koalas aren’t bears(they are marsupials), but Pandas officially are bears, not raccoons or whatever. Maybe Caulfield should have checked his facts first. Personally, I wouldn’t want to know what the do in the woods. lol

Being a cardinal* is not a prerequisite for becoming pope, it’s just customary. In fact, a parish priest or even a member of the laity could be elected (but it will probably never happen).*The most common foul fowl in the Catholic Church happens to be the white-crested cassock-lifter.

dinkytown: I wondered about that. Methodists are a lot closer to Presbyterians than they are to even northern Baptists, and both got together with Congregationalists to form the United Church of Canada soon after the setting of the book (1925). All three were involved in the formation of the Cooperative Commonwealth Federation, which became the New Democratic Party of today. (Unlike the fundamentalists’ Social Credit Party which nowadays seems to change its name every election.)

? I am definitely missing a reference. Not only does the comic not make sense, neither do the comments.

The red Panda is not a bear but the giant Panda most certainly is.

You know, in order to perform a proper bilabial fricative (raspberry) you gotta have lips!

Maybe the school has some out-of-date books from the days when giant pandas weren’t considered true bears.

I love the unashamed ridiculousness of this one.
