Miss Plainwell: How's the arm?
Mrs. Olsen: Pain's gone. Now I just have to face that I won't be able to do that aqua Zumba class.
Miss Plainwell: You were going to start a fitness program?
Mrs. Olsen: Well, no. Not until I couldn't.
Thanks to you both. Along with “racism” and “agism,” we should work on stamping out whatever “ism” it is that mentally exposes (pun intended) people to mean-spirited personal assaults, whether those “people” are cartoon characters, actors, models, or our own family members. Makes me glad no visuals come with these comments. I’m sure many of us wish we could still look the way we did when we were thirty!
Been there! Once I got Medicare, I could get gym membership for free. Yippee! Then I started taking care of my grandson, and the gym hours are too short, and I can’t go out during the day….

She’d have to get her swimsuit from the Tent and Awning store

Oh please, I’ve seen plenty of evidence they make swimsuits in her size.
Shudder.

I’m guessing vwdualnomand is: 1) young, and 2) male. Have some compassion. You’ll get wrinkled and saggy, too, if you live long enough.

I wonder if she’ll be able to play the piano (or violin) after the cast comes off.
