Boy: This afternoon my folks take me back-to-school shopping. Hope and dread. Frazz: Is this a prediction or the agenda? Boy: I hope to dread it loudly enough to prompt a side trip for ice cream.
As someone who’s worked retail for ten years, I have to say that there’s nothing less necessary to the back to school shopping process than the child that will be going back to school.
