Caulfield: One day of school left, and Mrs. Olsen assigns an essay! Frazz: F. Scott Fitzgerald said,"All good writing is swimming underwater holding your breath." Caulfield: What are you getting at? Something about deadline pressure? Frazz: I'm getting at you can see the end of the pool from here.
Some of the books I dreaded reading the most (The Caine Munity over Christmas break) were ones I ended up enjoying the most. Essays/book reports helped hone thinking and writing skills that are often lacking today. I’m quite grateful for my 3Rs education.
