Caulfield: America's top crop, if you look at it that way, is grass. Not that grass. Lawns. Parks. Golf courses. Like, four times as much lawn as corn! Do people think about their lawns too much? Or not enough? Frazz: Let's just say you're shifting the balance in your direction.
I drove through Oregon a few weeks ago. It’s the grass seed capital of the world. That’s right, there are BIG farms that grow grass JUST so they can collect the seed and put it into bags that YOU can buy and scatter around your house to grow grass on your lawn.
