Ok, Caulfield has the flag of Norway on his tuque (toque, we already had that discussion…). What’s that all about?

i find it interesting that caulfield does not know anyone who doesn’t celebrate christmas.

There is this to say about Santa Claus: He’s a unifying force. Even the corners of the culture who are outraged by participation medals are pretty sure that whatever they got from Santa Claus, they deserved; that whatever anybody gets from Santa Claus, they deserve.

It’s kind of cute that Caulfield is either faking or really still sees Santa as real. However I do like his evaluation assessment of gifts gotten in relation to the naughty/nice ratios observed. It doesn’t seem to matter.
