One of my recurring dreams is where I’m close to the end of the school year, and I suddenly remember a class (english, math, etc) that I totally forgot about, never attended, and now I have to catch up on.
Only rarely do dreams bring me humor or good memories anymore. In recent years, they have become even more confusing and frustrating, and I wake up angry. Happened again this morning. Fortunately, I woke up next to my wife, friend, partner, and sidekick of 58 years, and all the anger just faded away, as it usually does. Saying I am thankful for her doesn’t even come close.
In my “back in school” dreams, I’m not able to keep track of all the classes I’m enrolled in and am struggling to keep up with the work in those courses I remember to attend.
Never had the undressed nightmare, but I graduated from college a LONG time ago and still sometimes dream of not knowing what room my next class is in.
The others are faded to grey. You’re barefoot and only wearing your undies. Frazz is the only other person of color. Yeah, all signs point to this being a dream. ♪♫ Tell you ’bout a dream that I have every night. ♪♫
Okay, so as a teacher I have had (occasionally very detailed and realistic) dreams wherein there is a full class of students about to arrive and I have absolutely nothing prepared…

It must be a dream. Why else would all of the kids be at school on a Sunday?

Has to be a dream. Caulfield would never wear tightie whities.

I used to have naked dreams; now I have underwear dreams. Does that mean I feel more secure now?
