Get taller, Ms. Olsen. Pull yourself up by those bootstraps.

But hard work and natural ability are not mutually exclusive.

One percent inspiration and 99% perspiration. But all the perspiration in the world won’t give you an inspiration if you don’t have that spark within you.

Working hard is a natural ability, so the poster is a paradox.

Sometimes neither works but the effort is about trying and learning.

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. But the people who really succeed usually have both, and some luck.

So where does it say who has to do the hard work?

Hard work definitely makes the most of natural ability. But any man can work as hard as he possibly can, and he’s not going to bear a baby.

I resemble that last remark.
