We have too much stuff as it is and I’ve campaigned the family for years to cut back on the gift giving part of Christmas

Didn’t get much this year but it was all useful, except one thing that was just cute

Like the kids in Stone Soup that change into different clothes at school in the girls’ room.

Great minds think alike! I did that when I was in school, too. ;-)

That sweater looks fine! Now, if it’s itchy, that’s a different matter..

“when at first we practice to deceive” I imagine not for the first time, and definitely won’t be the last.

Too bad the sweater was colored so dark. Can’t see it well enough to like/dislike, so can’t empathize with kid.

I am a transgender woman. I once got a football in my early teens, maybe my tweens, from my parents on xmas. I hated sports. Let’s just say I didn’t handle it well.

We hope each of you has a wonderful New Year and pray that you will find peace and friendship, wherever and whoever you are.

And, as this is my 87th new year, my sweet blue-eyed girl’s 82nd, and our 60th anniversary, we will add this that we have learned.

One sure pattern for life is to hold tight to your families and loved ones, your deepest beliefs, and your sense of what is right.

Hold tight to your self-respect, your respect for others, and your love of your country

Hold tight to the truth that, while no one is your better, no one is less.

Hold tight as bad as your pain is, others suffer more.

Know it is up to you – always has been and always will be.

Does she have jaundice, or is this a racist myth?

Ever since it was pointed out, the coloring for this little girl bugs me. Why is one half of her body always shaded? No matter what the angle, the left side of her face and her left hand are always marred by the diagonal lines.
