Looks like my big dog. She’ll go to the thrown ball, pick it up and wait for me to go to her to play for it.
Fred’s a hound. He’ll chase your ball down, but if you wanted it back you should’ve gotten a retriever.
My dog is part Beagle and part Retriever. He will neither chase or fetch. You throw a stick and he just sits there waiting for you to go pick it up. I got tired of that game real quick. I guess where that is concerned his Beagle genes kick in.
