My dachshund puts his nose out and then does a high-speed reverse if the weather is like that.

years ago—we rescued a cat (whose homeless owner, died in a fire to keep them both warm) she constantly meowed at the door. during a snow storm-i opened the door and showed her (we named her Aida) the snow.like fred she stood there-looked at the snow, turned aroud and meowed happily into the kitchen. she never asked to go outside ever again.

Yeah, it’s not a good day to go out today, Fred. Just do your business quickly and get back in.

My cat when I was growing up would head to the door to go out at the first snow of the year. My Mom would open the door and Kitty (full name Estralita) would stop dead and basically refuse to go out.

Fred’s spirit can get into plenty of adventures indoors. The outdoors can wait for a sunny day. ;)

Days like that any pet should feel especially grateful for their nice warm home.

Had a Labrador and if she poked her head out and a raindrop hit her nose, she would go back inside.

Our cat was different. If it was raining, she was out in it. Always.

Fred smart isn’t he??…doesn’t want to go out if the weather’s bad huh???
