I’ve got a Leonberger. Big brave Hugo. All 65kg of him. He’ll chase cats alright, however if one were to stop and stand up to him, I’d need a search party (including helicopters) to find him.
Now Fred, to honor all dogs, do you keep this to yourself? Or do you make sport of it and tell all your friends? Hmm. Tell your friends cause the cat will probably rat him out anyway.

Hubby’s cousin had both a cat and a dog. Dog chased cat up the stairs and cat chased dog down the stairs.

I’ve had more than one cat that would not allow dogs on the property, one actually rode a dog out of the yard.
