Start barking at them Fred. Maybe they will turn around and see the storm clouds moving in.

I bet with that wonderful basset nose that first you smelled the coming rain and then you looked and saw the clouds. Yeah, you need to let them know what’s coming or everyone is in for a very wet walk home.

They look as if they are a long way from home.

Soon they’ll be singing in the rain.

“I’ll get you me pretties, and your little dog too!” ba-da, ba-da, ba-daaa-da! ba-da, ba-da, ba-daaa-da!

Be glad to not live on the U.S. Gulf Coast , 2 hurricanes to hit within 24 hours of each other, 600 miles apart

One hopes they are walking towards home.. and not from it.

We here in my state sure could use some of that coming rain – lots of rain!!

Same thing happened to me just this morning: Left my apartment on what looked like a beautiful sunny morning. Sun, blue sky, a few white clouds, the ideal morning. Except that when I got outside I noticed, to the northwest, a very dark gray mass of clouds. We had a 10-minute cloud burst (during which I was happily sheltered in my local post office) and the rest of the day was fine.
