Fred has to watch his weight. Bassets can get on the pudgy side very easily and he won’t win prizes for Best of Breed if he is only a tiny bit overweight. :)

Light relief is better than no relief as Fred seems to be aware since he accepted the half-wafer. It would have been unrealistic if he hadn’t.
