You were awfully polite, Fred. You should’ve taken off for home and not stopped until you got there so they could see you knew where you were.

Why is he found by himself? Where is Mr and Mrs. Dear?

Fred, can you convince the officers to stop at the butcher shop for some sausages, a little whine, perhaps?

Thanks to everybody who wished me well on my daycation to Ludlow when I mentioned it on Tuesday. My friend Haydn and I visited the outside of Ludlow castle but decided not to go in as their was a £9 entrance fee. We then went to the Broad Gate which is one of the surviving gates on Ludlow’s city walls. We both had a pub lunch at Ye Olde Bull Ring Tavern which was built in 1365 so is just over six hundred years older than I am. My pub lunch was steak and onion pie with mashed potatoes and vegetables. I had a glass of Inch’s Cider with it. Haydn and I both had a great day.

The police don’t know it yet. But, they have just stopped a raid on the local butchers……….

Fred there just might be some treats for you at the station ;-)

The Dears are NOT going to be happy! I wonder if there’s a follow-up tomorrow!
