    I hate to be a downer and burst your bubble, but I’m thinking you are out of the money. You missed the first critical trial. You were not obedient. I know, I know. You were excited but that unfortunately doesn’t count. But if there was an award for most enthused basset, you would win.

    That’s what my dog was like the very first time we did Obedience Trials! Lots of preparation but combine doggy excitement and handler nerves—it was a learning experience, LOL!
