My sister and I went to The March for Science in DC in April 2017. We took our first trip on Amtrak in doing so. As the train rolled up to the station the rain began. There was only a small area up 4 brick steps to a doorway with an overhang to shelter in. We huddled together with a sense of camaraderie and quiet excitement. So many different ages and races, feeling warm together.

Sad, days long gone of people being this socially close. (I’m not referring to Covid, just socializing in general)

Shameful. Because of rain they did not properly perform social distancing. Chose risking covid over risking pneumonia.

And also on the unjust fella;
But chiefly on the just, because
The unjust hath the just’s umbrella.
