sooner or later there’ll be a riot in the street, Faust fresh with devil meat stokes confusion’s heavy heat; a stunting, slashing beat gets the zombies to their feet where they’ll strike a pose for loss of mortal dreams. yet the last hurrahs of conscience will vanish in the mire, soon curdled by desire, a bloodless, lifeless fire, strung out along the wire like ragged moonbeams.

I HATE to admit this, Plight, but I don’t know the origin of that poem. Did you compose it yourself?
