    @LocoOwlYes, there’s been something of an attitude shift hasn’t there? I think that, on some level, we’re still expecting companies to feel some noblesse oblige and take care of our healthcare and pensions, to stand up for us like powerful benefactors. Of course it can’t actually work that way… management’s moral obligation is to the stockholders, not to employees or customers. Maybe we were more naive back in the 50’s or maybe we just didn’t have neo-liberals telling us that we had no right to force businesses to behave morally… In any event, there was not that feeling that we had been betrayed by corporate America.
