Not much “singling out” really necessary here. Or, as the idiom of the day has it, it is what it is….

I’m going to have to start looking at the soda section of Japanese grocery stores. I never drink them (can’t handle the sugars), so I never go in that section. I know I haven’t seen those varieties in the vending machines (which are everywhere).

The photo you say is Danny Glover is actually Donald Glover, currently on the show Community (as well as a lot of other credits). Years ago, while heading for Los Angeles from Las Vegas. I stopped at a casino in Jean, Nevada and they had Bonnie and Clydes death car on display. It was absolutely riddled with bullet holes.

Yes, I can see the patterns of ridicule there.

That red car… Flightsuit had the same answer I got (and I swear, I wasn’t peeking!)… 1959 Caddy Eldorado Biarritz… I’m not a big car guy, but it’s one of the few I recognize – a true landyacht!

Life is good! Teresa’s back. Anita’s back (Her front actually). The blog is back. I’ve always found that smoking a little tea solved many problems.

Well, when you look like a ring tailed cat…

Rubber bands: I could swear that’s from a Warner Bros. cartoon- one of the very surreal ones. And they walk along making a goofy noise.

And you can never go wrong with Turner. I didn’t know his work before I beheld a mid-career painting in the big Boston museum. “Hey babe! Look at this- it’s really cool!” “Yes, dear, that’s a Turner.”
