I get it, Teresa! In your insane lust for cartoon-power, you’re striving to become the Matisse of Comics!

The door as indicator of socio-economic status. It works pretty well, wouldn’t you say?

I DO love today’s strip, Teresa. After Barticle’s simple and perfect first comment, all the rest, including mine, are supernumerary.

Could you dumb that down for peoples like me?

(The Wikipedia entry for “lineament” made reference to “dykes,” so now I’m more confused than ever)

While you’re at it, could you also explain why all those pataphysical dykes are running around in their lineaments signaling touchdown?

I grew up on a farm in Tennessee. The closest town was about 15 miles away and there were no lights at night to prevent one from seeing billions of bright stars. I really. really miss that.

RE: Blog – I find the Ayn Rand quote chilling and the " … why do cats have such beautiful strips?" question profoundly silly. -It is my belief that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.

Asimov once wrote a story about people who saw the stars for the first time, and went stark raving mad, causing the collapse of civilization. Bloody unlikely if you ask me. Anyway, it’s well known by know how society will really collapse: it will be caused by millions of peeing Calvin decals.

Radish & Rotifer, pataphysics is nice but I’d rather consider what lies beyond metacake. Yup, patacake.

I prefer to observe phenomena without drawing conclusions, theorising or coming to conclusions. I suppose there’s always been an element of Zen in me (even as a child).

An obvious question would be, why would you drink Bakon Vodka? Well, one of my sons developed the “Breakfast Martini,” which consists of Bakon Vodka, with a couple of liqueurs that I don’t recall right now, one of which turns the vodka milky white, the other is pale yellow and looks like egg yolk when dribbled into the bottom of the glass. Sprinkle a bit of pepper on top and voilà, you have a nasty tasting and horrible smelling, but visually appealing breakfast.

Re: Bra-Many hormone assisted teenage weeks, months, and yes, even years developing the art of unhooking a bra through a blouse, only to be foiled by this diabolical creation! (She eventually took pity, though, and showed me how much easier it was to move the unwanted bits of cloth aside), Definitely worth a buck and a half.
