This is why compartmentalization is important on the comics page. One malodorous selection can ruin your appreciation of another, less awful, selection. A fine dining experience is difficult to appreciate when you are seated next to a dumpster filled with ripe refuse.Unless you are a crow, of course. Then you will laugh at anything and there is no such thing as a bad smell.
And, of course, some comics are like a fragrant cheese, suitable only to sophisticated, trained palates. For further information on cheeses, web search for:“monty python cheeseshop sketch”
Like a little Petey Otterloop, what we have here is a picky reader. Or maybe he just likes the feel of a clothespin dangling from his nose. Could be fun, I guess…. Or Teresa doesn’t like (at least some of) the comics and expresses that sentiment here metaphorically?
